The Nicholas Sparks Foundation has announced three recipients of a one-time grant to support educational travel opportunities for high school students.

In July, Betsi Li, Darragh Dolan, and Marley O’Neil will travel to the Galapagos Islands with Envoys, a company that leads student travel programs. These three students will participate in an innovative program that blends classroom instruction, interactive activities, real-life adventures, and focused reporting. Betsy, Darragh, and Marley will expand their knowledge in the sciences and the humanities and will learn to connect academic subjects with the beauty of nature.
