Our first scholarship recipients entered kindergarten at the Epiphany School of Global Studies in New Bern, North Carolina, in August 2015. If you are the parent or guardian of a student in the New Bern area who wishes to apply for consideration for a scholarship to begin in kindergarten in September 2017, please wait for the next Epiphany application cycle to begin in November 2016.

We are not actively seeking volunteers at the moment, but if you would like to help, do not hesitate to be in touch — we would love to hear from you! Please email staff@nsparksfoundation.org with any queries about our work.

Can I get a book signed by Nicholas Sparks?
Yes! The Foundation offers a signed and personalized paperback copy of any of Nicholas’s books to anyone who donates $100 or more in support of our programs. From time to time, we also offer special promotions of specific books. Click here to donate to help us improve education.

At present, the Foundation only supports the Epiphany School of Global Studies in New Bern. In the past, we have also made grants to other schools in our Rural Schools Alliance; however, we do not expect at this time to continue supporting other schools.

Does the Foundation offer grants for individual student travel?
At present, the Foundation does not make grants to individual students. In 2013, we did fund educational travel experiences for three students.
